Hydraulic Rock Drills

Hydraulic rock drill is driven by high pressure oil to complete energy conversion in the percussive drilling system. Drill rod and coupling transfer the power to drill bit for drilling blast hole by breaking rocks. The hydraulic rock drill is the key equipment in the percussive drilling system.
A hydraulic rock drill typically consists of a percussion assembly, a rotation assembly, a water injection head, a buffer device and a lubrication device. The percussion assembly mainly comprises a percussion body, a piston, an accumulator, a valve and seals. With the main function of rotating drill strings and handling drill rods,the rotation assembly mainly consists of a hydraulic motor, a main gear and seals. The water injection head are divided into two types of central water injection and side water injection. The buffer device, including a piston and a high-pressure accumulator,are primarily used to absorb the rebound force during drilling operation and reduce the force onto rock drills and drill bits. The lubrication device prevents dust from entering the body and simultaneously lubricates the rotation assembly.
LHS has introduced French technology to produce the HYD hydraulic rock drills of the main models of HYD200, HYD300, HYD200E, HYD300E, and HYD350E with characteristics of stable and efficient performance, simple structure and low maintenance costs. The rock drills are primarily used with jumbos, rock bolting  rigs, shaft drill rigs, furnace tapping machines, etc.
