Development history of HYD200 Hydraulic Drifter

    The HYD200 hydraulic drifter was produced by the Lianhuashan Metallurgical Machinery Plant of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation after the introduction of technology of HYDRASTAR200 hydraulic drifterfrom EIMCO-SECOMA France in 1985. After localization, the model is abbreviated as HYD200. SECOMA is one of the earliest companies in the world to develop hydraulic drifters. The HYDRASTAR200 hydraulic drifter is the fifth-generation product developed in 1982. It has the advantages of long life of spare parts, high efficiency, high reliability and strong adaptability.

    The domestic prototype successfully passed the comprehensive technical performance test of the Rock Drilling Equipment Laboratory of the Beijing Institute of Coal Science and Technology in January 1988.  The test results of the HYD200 hydraulic drifter were believed to be basically same as the original one from France. The industrial test of the prototype was carried out at the Jiaojia Gold Mine of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry by installing on a French Mercury 14-1F single-arm drill rig to totallydrill 15290m (including 4000m bolt holes) . The performance and the quality reliability of the prototype have been verified, so did the accuracy of technical data and the economic rationality of popularization. The ministerial appraisal of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation was passed in Changsha on 3^rd, November, 1988.
