Montabert, located in Lyon, France, is mainly engaged in the design, production and sales of hydraulic drifters and hydraulic breakers.

Montabertwas founded in 1921 to produce pneumatic equipment. In 1965, the first hand-held hydraulic drifter was produced. In 1969, the first hydraulic breaker was produced, which was matched with a excavator. In 1970, the first Hydraulic drifter H45 was produced.
